Question: where is datalab's main space located?

The Datalab classroom and core administrative space is Shields 360, which is on the third floor of the Shields Library.
Go in the main entrance and climb to the top right side of the stairs. Then turn left and follow the stacks all the way down; DataLab is all the way in the back.
